The Catholic International Stem Cell Symposium(CISCS) is held annual in Seoul, Korea
After the 1st CISCS was held successfully in 2002, CISCS has been devoted to establishing a global networking of stem cell research and to promoting exchanges of inspirations in the biology and clinical applications of stem cells
This symposium also has the meaning that it announces the Catholic Church's efforts to respect life based on the philosophy of the Catholic Institute of Cell Therapy, and to provide a ground for effective international cooperation to integrate stem cell capacities centering on Catholic Institute of Cell Therapy.

2nd May 1 2004 50th anniversary of the Medical School of Catholic University
3rd June 10 2005 St. Mary's Hospital broke the record of 2,500 cases of hemopoietic stem cell transplantation

5th July 1 2007 Coverage of the 5th CISCS in Nature Stem Cell Review
